Ragnar 31-Day Challenge Wrap Up

Ragnar 31-Day Challenge Wrap Up

I participated in the Ragnar 31-Day Challenge from January 1 - January 31 2018. For me, it was a fun followup to the RW Run Streak that ended on January 1 (Officially ended, but Runner's World left the group page open, and the runners in the group are still streaking and still going strong!)

"Ragnars" are the name for long-distance, 24+ hour relay runs in which teams dress in crazy costumes, decorate team vans and overcome all sorts of challenges all for the love of running and adventure.

I don't have a Ragnar Relay on my social calendar any time soon, but the January challenge was straightforward: do something active every single day in January. There were several added challenges sprinkled throughout the month, such as #BeautifulAsIAm and #ChaseTheSun. I enjoyed the challenge, and I embraced the opportunity to experiment with new exercises, activities (including yoga and hula hooping!) and compression socks. I had planned to keep my running streak going, but shin splints temporarily derailed my running plans on day #51

I enjoyed sharing experiences with others in the Ragnar 31-Day Challenge Facebook group, and folks have asked about seeing all the "t-shirt posts" all in one place. So here you go! I've blurred out names of people I mentioned out of respect for their privacy.

Enjoy!
